1. Okay after I opened the tool box and got impermissible my craftman tools, I shut the box, not it will NOT open!

   The only affair I could enter out is somthing got stuck in the door latch mechanisim?

   The box is aluminum and it is the type that sat in the bed, and the unhurt top is one big lid, the latch is in the middle, it has some rivets riveting the latch to the aluminum box.

   Fundament a locksmith make this, or do I drill out the rivets? I could crowbar up the lid, but that would damage it...

2. If the identify doesn't work so there is a pretty good chance that something in the lock has failing. A locksmith might be able to get the lock functional once again. 3. After the WD40, a generous application of force from a rubber mallet might just vibrate loose whatever is jamming the put away.

4. Satisfactory, well run across this is different, it has a handle break from the paint lock cylinder, I can pull in the handle out so far, but non all the manner retired, and information technology stops, so hmm, it IS unlocked.

9. Well I used primitive means of fixing the latch, brute pull along. I slaped banged on the eyelid and the side, working the latch, and Last it opened.

   look the mechanisim, it has this vertical rod with teeth on it, that locks onto the hat, the cylindrical lining that the vertical rod mounts to at the rump seems to have alot of play, it besides was gumbed up with road dust.

   So I dependable to find few minral booze, the closest thing I had was T.V. tuner lube, worked good in reality, so in real time it works. But that bushing needs replaced, determination a replacement handle would be hell, sort of look-alike the indefinite therein attachment, but a different shape.

   Eh, perhaps a locksmith can fix it.
